Auction Featured Items

Featured Items allow you to highlight select auction items and make them easier for guests to find. When items are marked as featured, the personal guest experience auction page automatically shows a star icon on those items to distinguish them from the rest of the silent auction items. 

This article explains how Featured Items work, how to add them, and how the guest page tabs behave under different scenarios. 

What Are Featured Items? 

Featured Items are auction items that you intentionally highlight for guests. When at least one item is marked as featured: 

  • A Featured star icon appears on the guest experience page 
  • Guests can toggle between Featured, Silent, and Live auction items 
  • Featured items are grouped together for higher visibility 

How to Mark an Item as Featured 

  • Go to your auction and select an existing item or create a new one 
  • Within Advanced Options > Feature Item > select the location where the item will be featured, then save. 
  • Location Options: 
  • Everywhere: The featured item is immediately treated as a Featured Item across the auction, sorted first on the public page and within the guest experience page. 
  • On public pages: The featured item is sorted first 
  • On guest pages: The featured item is included within the featured star icon
