Auction Guest Experience and Flow
This is how your guests will participate in your online and/or silent auction via their guest experience link.
- Once you activate your auction, an Auction button will appear on your main Campaign Webpage and your Auction Page URL is now active.
- Below is the New Auction page.
- Guests can follow 3 different paths depending on the settings of your campaign.
- They can purchase Tickets and be directed to the checkout page. They will then receive their guest experience link to bid in the auction after they have purchased their tickets. You can designate when it is sent within your Edit Event>Guest Experience>Guest Link Visibility. See this article for more information about that setting.

- They can be directed to this pop-up if you are allowing people who are not attending your event to bid in your auction. This option is located within Auction Settings>Bidder Registration Options>Allow Non-Ticketed Bidders.

- Finally, if you are hosting only an auction and/or not selling tickets to an in-person event, then they will be directed to Register to Bid from your auction page and automatically re-directed to their Guest Experience Link.
- Guest Experience Link Page: This is a unique secure link that gives them access to their specific guest page where they can view and bid on auction items, view the live stream when available, purchase any event offers and items for sale and make a donation. - The guest can also preauthorize or save their card on file on this page too. When setting up the auction, the organizer can choose whether or not a bidder must provide a credit card to be held on file in order to bid. This setting can be found in Auction Settings>Payments.
- Guests can Browse Items, view an item or package, bid on it, and purchase other offers, such as raffle tickets through their Guest Link.
- When a guest bids on an auction item, they will see the below confirmation and receive a confirmation text. Play the video below to see the flow.

- When a guest wins an auction item (when you award the items to the highest bidders), it will show as "It's Yours" on their guest experience page.
- They will receive a winning bidder text message as well.
- All of the purchases or items awarded to the guest are put in their guest cart. Where they can view their items and check themselves out depending on your settings.
