Better.AI on Your Plan
What Better.AI can do for your organization is decided by two separate things: which parts of BetterUnite your plan covers, and how much generated work is included each month. They are independent, and most questions about Better.AI turn out to be about one or the other.
What your plan covers
Better.AI reads your records, so each capability follows the records it needs. Donor summaries need giving history, which means a CRM module. Event health needs events. Nothing here is an arbitrary gate: a capability appears where the underlying information exists.
If a capability is not on your plan, you will still see it in the product with worked examples clearly marked as examples, so you can tell whether it is worth having before you ask about it.
How much is included each month
Asking questions is unlimited. There is no monthly cap on the Better.AI panel on any plan that includes it. Ask as often as you like.
The work Better.AI writes for you comes as a monthly sample:
The count resets on the first of each month. You can see what you have left without hunting for it: the Better.AI card on a contact record says how many summaries and plans remain, and the Recommendations tab says how many written recommendations your plan includes.
What the Better.AI add-on changes
The add-on removes the monthly sample. Summaries and plans for every contact on your list, a written explanation for every recommendation, the whole ranked queue on Today's suggested actions rather than the top three, and every event health signal rather than the weakest one.
It does not add capabilities your plan does not carry. If your plan has no events module, the add-on does not give you event health. It changes how much, not what.
The one thing it does add is the full range behind your comparison figures, which is otherwise on Premier plans only.
What happens when the monthly sample runs out
Nothing stops working, and nothing disappears.
- Summaries and plans you already generated stay readable. They are stored on the contact record and cost nothing to open again. Only generating a new one draws on the monthly count.
- Recommendations are still found. Better.AI reviews your data every night whatever your plan. Past the fifth written recommendation in a month, findings still appear on the tab with the figures behind them; what they arrive without is the sentence explaining them.
- Asking questions is unaffected, because it was never rationed.
Seeing what you have used
Both places that ration something tell you where you stand before you run out, not after:
- The Better.AI card on any contact record shows summaries and plans remaining this month.
- The Recommendations tab shows how many written recommendations your plan includes and how many are left.
