Bidder registration SMS Opt-in flow and examples

If you opt-in to receive text messages when registering as a bidder, you may received messages from the organizer about the event or the system based on your activity.

 

Example opt-in flow: must explicitly select to receive text messages. Default sample form shown below:

If you select the "Yes" option, then your phone number field is provided to confirm.

 

Here are examples of type of messages you may receive. 

Sample 1:

Thank you for your interest in 37th Annual Care Breakfast View Event Purchase Options or Donate

Sample 2:

Welcome to Change for Change - In Person Event. Use your secure personal link below to review event information and bid in the fundraiser auction. Do not share this link.

Sample 3:

Someone outbid you on item #112: Beauty Gift Set. Bid $164 or higher. Click link to view item.

 

Additionally the organizers may send information about the event, leading up to the event or during the event, both logistical or informational.  You may also receive bid confirmations and outbid notifications.
