Can I issue a partial refund?

You can issue partial refunds on the BetterUnite platform. The refund is only a financial transaction, and does not change the components of the transaction within BetterUnite (It does not remove line items like tickets, offers, or whatever was in the transaction, it only refunds a portion of the money back to the payer).

• To issue a partial refund on a transaction, you will need to go to the transaction record. On this pop up window click on Refund Payment and select Partial Refund as shown below.

• Once you click on Partial Refund, enter in the amount that you want to refund in the box provided and click Refund.

• When you click on the transaction again, the transaction record will show the refund issued in red and also the net donation amount received after the partial refund.

• On your Transactions page, "R" in red will appear next to the transaction record that is partially refunded.
