Can I Switch my Live-Stream Source in the Middle of my Livestream?

Yes you can switch your live-stream source in the middle of your live-stream but you will need to first make it not live before you switch it to another source. The guest's viewing experience is controlled by your live stream settings within your event in BetterUnite.

• You can enter the details of your live-stream by clicking on Edit Event on your Manage Event Page. 

• Under the Basics Tab you can see the Live Stream Options.
• In the example below the live-stream is turned on and it is showing your guests the live-stream from YouTube Live Platform that you had added.

• You can switch your live stream source in the middle of your live stream by first putting your live-stream as Not live and saving the changes.
• When you toggle back to not be live any more, it will auto-refresh the guest pages to remove the live stream content from their page. (remember to save when you make this toggle)

• You can now also turn on and off your livestream in your Action Center as shown below. If you click Broadcast now your live stream will go live.

• When you are live, the button will turn red and will display You Are Live.
• To turn of Go Live click You are Live Button.

• Update settings to the new live stream code, and go live again (remember to save).  This will trigger the updates on the guest page to show the new updated live-stream.

• Click on Save every time you want to switch between Not Live and Go Live.
