If you have a time set for your upcoming event, then BetterUnite will send event reminder notifications to guests with their unique guest link and event information automatically.
- For Events: Specifically for events not explicitly started as virtual event or auction or do not have a live-stream component, the reminder will be auto-sent 3 days, and 8 hours before the event.
- The content of the reminder is set by BetterUnite, however, you can add specific content for the event reminders click on Edit Event in your Action Center as shown below, and this content will be appended to the reminder messaging for the guests.
- In your Edit Event page select the Communications tab.
- In the section below, provide specific content to be included in the event reminder notification sent by the system. Unless you tick the box to turn off Event reminder to guests the system will automatically send the reminders.
- For Virtual Events or auctions (or events with live-stream component): Unless you tick the box to turn off the event reminders to guests, the reminder will be auto-sent 3 days, 8 hours and 1 hour before the event.
