Do Bidders Have to Register a Card to bid on the Auction?

You can control whether you enforce auction bidders to register their card before being able to bid on the auction. By default, everyone can see the auction; however, you have to register to bid on the auction. When registering, based on the option you have selected, the guest may have to provide a card or not.

• Start by navigating to the Manage Auction page. 
• Under Auction Settings, select which payment option you prefer. 

For the payment section, you will have two options.

• Require Bidders to provide payment information before bidding: The guests will need to provide this information before they can put any bids through by pre-authorizing their cards. This option will make it easier for you to process payments.
• Allow Bidders to Bid without pre-authorization: By Choosing this option, you will allow your guests to bid on Auction items without their payment information. If you don't require a card for bidding, you will have to manually reach out to them to complete their payments. The guests will also see a link on their guest page to make payment once you have awarded items to the guests.
