We're thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to our payment processing capabilities on BetterUnite with the introduction of Stripe Express! This update, effective from January 1, 2024, brings you a more efficient and cost-effective way to manage your transactions.

Understanding the Stripe Integration Upgrade: Previously, our platform offered the Stripe Standard processor at a rate of 3.5% + 30¢. Now, with our latest integration, we're able to provide Stripe Express at a reduced rate of just 2.9% + 30¢. This change is a direct result of the advanced nature of our Stripe integration.

Choosing Between Stripe Standard and Stripe Express:

1. Rate Comparison: Stripe Standard's rate was 3.5% compared to Stripe Express's more favorable rate of 2.9%.
2. Management Interface:
   • Stripe Standard: Allowed direct fund management on Stripe.com.
   • Stripe Express: Offers an integrated fund management experience within your BetterUnite account. The Stripe Express Dashboard, while powered by Stripe, is accessible primarily through BetterUnite, providing a streamlined view and control of your funds.
3. Funds Holding Period: The holding period for funds in Stripe Express may differ from the Standard version. We recommend reviewing the payout schedule defaults in this detailed article for complete clarity.

Transition to Stripe Express:

• If you were using Stripe Standard before our update, rest assured, you can continue using it.
• To leverage the benefits of Stripe Express, simply add it to your list of processors and start using this new version.
