Guest Information

In some cases, you may want to collect specific information from all of your guests for your event. For example, if you wanted to collect address of each guest, or meal preference for each guest, you would modify the guest requirements and include these fields in your event. 

If you create custom Guest Fields, they can be included in a particular event and can be used to determine the information to be collected from each attendee/guest.

  • To access the Guest Information click go to the Edit Event Page and select Checkout Options.

  • In the below pop up window you can add your new fields by entering a Field Name and Field Type. These new fields will be available for you to associate with your events. Save Changes once you have entered a custom field.

  • If the field is a dropdown list you can reorder and rename custom pick list values. This can also be edited through Settings->Custom Fields.

  • Note the newly added guest field is listed here and is hidden by default. By default, and at a minimum, all guests will be provided with the ability to provide their full name, email address, phone number, and notes. You can however choose to show more fields by selecting which additional fields to make visible. These selections are specific to this event and will only be shown on the confirmation page for purchases made for this event.
  • You can create a custom guest field and choose the same field in multiple events; the field is created once and included in multiple events as a choice. For example, you may create a "Dietary Requirements" field and include it in your various events over time.
  • The fields you configure in this section will be available for each guest ticket shown on the confirmation page when someone purchases ticket(s).  Each ticket slot shown in the confirmation page will include the fields you choose above. They can either be filled out by the purchaser or each guest themselves if the purchaser shares the ticket with the guest.
