Guest Information

• Guest Information fields let you collect specific details from every attendee — such as mailing address or meal preference — directly through your event checkout. Add default fields or create custom ones to capture exactly what your team needs. 
• By default all guests will be provided with the ability to provide their full name, email address, and phone number.
• If you create custom New Guest Fields, they can be added to any event to capture exactly the information your team needs from each attendee.
• To access Guest Information settings, go to the Edit Event>Checkout Options. 

• Follow these steps to configure Guest Information fields:

  1. To add a default field, select it from the Add a Field dropdown.
  2. To create a custom field, select New Guest Field and choose the field type you need (for example, text, dropdown, or checkbox), enter a label, and save it.
  3. To edit a field after creating it, go to Settings > Custom Fields. See the Custom Guest Fields article for more information.
   

• You can create a custom guest field by selecting New Guest Field.

• Create the type of field that you need. 

• If you need to edit a field after creating it, you can edit them through Settings>Custom Fields. Please see Custom Guest Fields for more information on creating custom guest fields.

• The fields you configure in the Edit Event>Checkout Options>Guest Information section appear on the confirmation page for each guest ticket purchased. The purchaser can fill in the fields directly, or they can share the ticket with each guest so the guest completes their own information.  They can either be filled out by the purchaser or each guest themselves if the purchaser shares the ticket with the guest.
