How can I Reach my Guests
While you should consider setting up your own email messaging within MailChimp or other platforms (with direct integration from BetterUnite), with your own branding and email address sending domain etc, you can also reach out to your guests from within BetterUnite. Please note that in mass email situations like below, some of your guests may receive the emails in their spam folders.
- To reach out to your guests, click on Guest Messaging on your Manage Event page.
- You can Click on Send Emails shown below, to send all Event guests their unique, secure link to access their My Event Page.
- You can send Text/SMS Messages to your Guests by clicking on Message Guests.
- Once you click on Message Guests the below pop up window will appear.
- On this page you can send a custom message or click on "Set default text to send links" to send guests their links for the event.
- If you are using your own email marketing platform to send branded communications to your guests directly, BetterUnite can help by following the below steps:
- Export a list of your guests on Manage Guests page.
- Export your list to your favorite email marketing platform like MailChimp, ConstantContact or Emma. If you're not using an online email marketing tool, you can export to file and email-merge using your mail client.
- By Clicking on Find out How Button you can also access step-by step instructions on sending tickets to your guests.
