How to Start a Campaign

Creating a successful fundraising campaign in BetterUnite is simple and intuitive. In just a few steps, you'll be guided through the entire process, from selecting your campaign type to launching it with ease.

 

 

  • First, locate the 'Start' button. You can find it in several places: on your home dashboard, within the Membership Management area, under Sign-Up Pages, Volunteer Management, within Giving Pages, and in Events.

  • Once you click the button, a list of campaign types will appear. You can choose from a variety of options including different types of events:
    • in-person
    • hybrid
    • virtual events
    • auction only
    • raffle
    • walk/runs
    • RSVP-only events. 
  • There are also options for giving pages which can be your static donation pages, online fundraisers like capital or end-of-year campaigns, membership sign-up pages, volunteer sign-up pages and simple sign-up forms.

  • Select the campaign type that suits your needs. You'll then be prompted to enter the campaign title.

  • After entering the title, you'll be taken to the Edit Campaign page where you can customize all the details.

  • And that's it! You're now ready to create and customize your campaign in BetterUnite. Happy fundraising!
