Introduction to Page Design Studio

Everything you need to know about creating custom campaign pages with BetterUnite’s visual page builder.

What is Page Design Studio?

Page Design Studio is BetterUnite’s new visual page builder that lets you create fully custom campaign pages — without writing any code. Whether you’re running a gala, an online giving campaign, a peer-to-peer fundraiser, or an auction, Page Design Studio gives you complete control over how your campaign page looks and feels.

With a drag-and-drop editor, professionally designed templates, and real-time mobile preview, you can build pages that match your organization’s brand and tell your story the way you want.

🎉 You asked, we built it!

Page Design Studio was created based on direct feedback from nonprofits like yours who wanted more control over their campaign pages. This is your tool — built for the way you work.

Key Features

Drag & Drop Editor

Visually arrange hero images, text blocks, donation tiers, sponsor logos, and more. Just drag, drop, and publish.

20+ Templates

Start with professionally designed templates for galas, walks, auctions, and online campaigns. Every template is fully customizable.

Mobile Preview

See exactly how your page will look on phones, tablets, and desktops in real-time as you build.

Campaign Theming

Set your brand colors globally or customize them per campaign. Choose between your Global Brand Kit or a Campaign Override.

Multi-Page Support

Create multiple pages per campaign — a main page, a thank-you page, a sponsor hub, a leaderboard, and more.

Merge Fields

Insert dynamic content like campaign names, goals, and amounts raised that update automatically.

Prebuilt Content

Drop in pre-designed sections (hero banners, FAQ blocks, sponsor grids) to speed up your workflow.

Offer Blocks

Insert your campaign’s tickets, giving levels, sponsorships, and items for sale directly into the page.

How to Access Page Design Studio

You can open Page Design Studio from any campaign in BetterUnite. Here’s how:

  1. 1. Navigate to your campaign from the main dashboard.
  2. 2. In the left sidebar, click Page Design under the campaign menu.
  3. 3. You’ll see the Page Design screen with two options: Page Design Studio (the new visual builder) and Legacy Branding & Layout (the classic experience).
  4. 4. Select Page Design Studio (it’s set as the default for new campaigns).
  5. 5. Click Open Page Studio or choose a template from the gallery to get started.

💡 Tip

If your campaign is already using Legacy Branding & Layout, you can switch to Page Design Studio at any time from the Page Design screen. Switching won’t delete your legacy settings — you can always switch back.

Understanding the Editor Layout

When you open Page Design Studio, you’ll see the editor interface. Here’s a quick orientation:

Top Bar

  • PAGES tab — where you build and edit your campaign pages.
  • SETTINGS tab — where you configure your Campaign Theme (colors) and Page Options.
  • Draft / Published status badge showing your campaign’s current state.
  • Publish button (with dropdown for Archive and Discard Changes).

Pages Tab (Editor View)

  • Page selector — shows the current page name (e.g. “Main Page”) and lets you switch between pages in your campaign.
  • Save Page, View Full Page, and Page Tools buttons.
  • INSERT toolbar — quick access to Prebuilt Content, Offers, Buttons & Links, and More.
  • Left panel with three tabs: Content (drag-and-drop blocks like Title, Paragraph, Image, Button, Table), Rows (layout structures), and Settings (block-level settings).
  • Canvas area — your live page preview where you drag, arrange, and edit content.
  • Desktop / Mobile toggle to switch preview modes.
  • Editor Zoom controls to zoom in or out on the canvas.

Settings Tab

Campaign Theme — choose between Global Brand Kit (colors sync across all campaigns and are read-only at the campaign level) or Campaign Override (fully editable colors scoped to this campaign). You can customize 12 color properties including Primary, Secondary, Accent, Background, Surface, Border, Text, and Link colors.

Page Options — toggle settings like “Show global navigation automatically” to control the visitor experience on your campaign page.
