Marking Items Fulfilled
Fulfillment tracks whether your team has physically handed an item to the guest. It is separate from payment, so you can mark something fulfilled before or after it is paid for. Only the items your organization hands over, meaning items for sale and auction items, can be marked fulfilled.
Marking an item fulfilled
On a cart item or a purchased item, click Mark Fulfilled. The button turns green and reads Fulfilled with the date it was marked. Click it again at any time to clear the status.
The control appears wherever items are listed: inside a guest's cart, on the shopping carts list, and on the purchased items list.
Fulfillment carries from the cart to the purchase
If you mark a cart item fulfilled before checkout, that status carries across to the purchased item when the guest pays. You do not have to mark it again after payment.
Filtering by fulfillment status
Both the cart items list and the purchased items list have a fulfillment filter with three choices:
- All Items
- Not Fulfilled Only
- Fulfilled Only
At the distribution table, set the filter to Not Fulfilled Only to see exactly what is still waiting to be handed out.
Fulfilled is not the same as paid. An item can be fulfilled and still unpaid, or paid and not yet fulfilled. Read the payment status and the fulfillment status together to see the full picture.
