Membership - Sign Up Pages

Start by navigating to the Membership Center.
- Click on Contacts
- Then click on Membership Management

On the pop-up window provide a title for your Membership Sign Up Page and click Create Sign Up Page.

You can now start building your Membership Sign Up Page. This page is similar to a regular giving page, but the key difference is that the 'offers' are linked to 'membership plans.

On this tab, you can change the title and the URL of your Sign up page if necessary. You can add a representative image for your Membership page or upload any videos. Sponsor logos and social media links can also be entered on this page.

On this tab, you can fill out the Membership Page Content. In this section, you can provide a long description of your membership details. This will be the main content of the membership page.
As an option, you can also provide a Membership Page Tagline. This can be a brief description to summarize the campaign.

In this section you will be adding the Membership plans that you had created. To add these plans to this Sign-Up page click Add Offer.

On the pop-up window, you will fill out the details of this offer. You can give your offer a title, choose the Plan from the dropdown list and give a brief description of this offer. This pop-up window also allows you to upload images for your offer.
Regardless of what your plan is called behind the scenes, when you add/expose this plan within this sign up page you can choose any appropriate name, description and details for the potential member to view. The system will automatically inherit and show the plan rules (duration, amount, etc), but you can change the name and description as appropriate on a per sign up page basis.

If you click on More Options, you can fill out the Fair Market Value for this offer if it's applicable. Once all the details have been entered click SAVE.

On this tab, you can customize your communications as well as your communications settings.
The first section allows you to customize your Default Email Note and enter in any Pre-checkout and Post-checkout commentary if necessary.

On the Communications tab, you can also Edit the Membership Page-Specific Contact Information, add any notification recipients for transactions and update your Email Banner.

Advanced options give you more specific options on your Membership Sign Up Page. On this page, you can Edit your Checkout Requirements and check any options that may be necessary for your page.

Advanced->Customize Labels section allows you to customize your labels on your Membership Page.

In this section you can add access codes and discounts codes for your offers. For more details on Access and Discounts codes please refer to the help article below.

Just like any other campaign page, you can view your online funding in this section.
Here you can select your default payment processor, Stripe or PayPal.
- Additionally you can turn PayPal & Venmo buttons on or off.
This is also the section you can configure your Fee Assignment. You can choose the different setting options for the payment processing fees as well as BetterUnite Fees.

When all the relevant sections of your Membership page is filled out, you can activate your page as shown below and share your page with potential members.

Once you have created your Membership Plans, you can provide access to these plans by creating a Membership Signup Page and inviting or providing a link for potential members to this page.
