Reusing a Previous Page

Fundraising for the same organization again? You can copy your story, headline, cover image and goal from a page you made for an earlier event, instead of writing everything again.

When This Is Available

Register for this year's event first, so you have a new fundraising page. Then open the Story tab on that page. If you have a page from an earlier event of the same organization, a Start from a previous page card appears at the top, listing your most recent pages.

The card does not appear for:

  • Pages from a different organization.
  • Other pages in the same event.
  • Pages an organizer created for you inside the organization's own account. Ask the organizer to copy that content for you.

Copy Content from a Previous Page

  1. Save any changes you have made to this year's page first. The page reloads after copying, and unsaved changes are lost.
  2. In the Start from a previous page card, click Preview next to the page you want.
  3. Check what that page had: its cover image, headline and story.
  4. Choose what to copy: Story and headline, Cover image, and Goal.
  5. Click Copy to this page.

The page reloads with the copied content. You can then edit it as usual on the Story and Details tabs, for example to update dates or this year's goal.

What Is and Isn't Copied

  • Copied content replaces what is on this year's page now. Your previous page is not changed.
  • Donations, supporters, team membership and page settings are never copied.
  • If the event organizer has locked content or goals, those options are unavailable and say they are locked by the organizer.

If Copying Fails

If you see a message that the page changed since you opened the preview, the page was edited in the meantime, perhaps in another window. Reload the page and try again.
