Running & Sending Statements in Events and Fundraisers

Run and send financial statements related to campaigns and events. These improvements allow organizations to create more tailored statements and streamline communication with purchasers.

1. Advanced Statement Filters

When running a statement, administrators can now:

  • Filter by campaign(s): Select one or more campaigns to generate campaign-specific statements.

  • Include transaction line items: Choose whether to display the detailed line items for each transaction in the statement.

This provides greater control and customization over the financial information shared with constituents.

2. Event Communications Hub Integration

From the Campaign Communications Hub, you can now:

  • Run and send statements directly to all event purchasers in just a few clicks.

  • Save time by eliminating the need to manually generate and send statements one by one.

👉 The process allows you to send a final transaction statement to your donors at your event with ease.

Important Note: Statement Template Setup

Before running or sending statements, organizations must first set up a statement template.
This template defines how the statement will look, including logos, formatting, and custom messaging.

How It Works (Step by Step)

  1. Navigate to Event Dashboard  > Communications > Statements.

  2. Select a Statement Template
  3. Click Generate Statements.

  4. View the Run Statement page
  5. Apply any additional filters if necessary

  6. Generate or preview the statement.

  7. Download, Save, or Email statements

Best Practices

  • Always set up or review your statement template before sending to ensure accuracy and branding.

  • Use line items when transparency is important (e.g., for donors or detailed financial tracking).

  • Leverage the communications hub to simplify mass communication for event purchasers.
