Someone Bought an Auction Item but I can't find the Payment in Transactions

In Event purchases, auction purchases and awardees, do not get checked out immediately, instead all the purchases end up in the guest's  cart and when the event is finalized you can check out each guest individually or in bulk. When you complete the checkout, a transaction record is created and it will appear on the giving->transactions page as well as the transactions/payments list in your event dashboard. Until the checkout is completed, the items will be accessible in the Guest Cart page.

The example below will show how an auction item is awarded and then the purchase is shown in the guest's  cart and finally checked out to be visible in the transactions.

• Click on Manage Auction on your Manage Event Page. 

• Select the item you want to award to the bidder and click on Award Item.

• Once the item is awarded to the guest, it is ready to be checked out.

• To check out your guest's shopping cart click on Guest Cart on your Manage Event Page. 

• Find your guest's shopping cart and click Check out as shown below.

• The below pop up window will let you review the shopping cart and once reviewed click on Submit Payment.

• You can see the payment in transactions by selecting Transactions under the Giving Tab on your Event Dashboard page.

• The Transactions page will show all the items that have been checked out. (The image below isn't showing the above example, but it would if you completed the above checkout)
