Learn about the various sponsorship types available for BetterUnite events and how to set them up on your event page. This guide covers sponsorships with tickets, without tickets, and those combining multiple ticket types or items.

BetterUnite offers several types of sponsorships you can build and sell through your event page. Each type caters to different sponsorship needs, providing flexibility in ticketing and recognition options.

1. Sponsorship with Tickets and Marketing Recognition (Group Ticket Type)

This sponsorship type includes event tickets and marketing recognition for the sponsor.

How to Set Up a Sponsorship with Tickets:

  1. Navigate to Sponsorships: Go to Edit Event > Sponsorships.
  2. Select Sponsorships with Tickets.

  3. Enter Sponsorship Details:
    Provide a title, the selling amount, and specify the type and number of tickets included (e.g., 10 tickets for a table of 10).

  4. Describe the Sponsorship Benefits:
    List the benefits (such as branding or recognition) in the description area.

  5. Limit Availability:
    Set a limit if only a certain number of this sponsorship type is available.

  6. Adjust Advanced Settings:

Set options such as Auto Create Table or Team, Guest Tags, or Notes for visibility on the guest's check-in screen.

2. Sponsorship with Marketing Recognition Only (No Tickets) (Item for Sale)

This type is for sponsors seeking marketing exposure only, without any event tickets included.

How to Set Up a Sponsorship with No Tickets:

  1. Navigate to Sponsorships: Go to Edit Event > Sponsorships.
  2. Select Sponsorships without Tickets.

  3. Enter Sponsorship Details:
    Provide a title and the selling amount.

  4. Describe the Sponsorship Benefits: List details in the description (e.g., logo with a direct link to the sponsor’s website on the event page)

  5. Limit Availability:
  6. Choose where you would like to sell this sponsorship. We recommend on the Public Pages Only and NOT in the Guest Page.
  7. Specify if only a certain number of this sponsorship type is available.

  8. Advanced Options

Fill in any additional details required such as Fair Market Value for this sponsorship.

3. Sponsorship with Multiple Ticket Types and/or Items (Combo Ticket Type)

This type of sponsorship combines various ticket types and/or items, offering flexibility for sponsors.

How to Set Up a Combo Sponsorship:

  1. Navigate to Sponsorships: Go to Edit Event > Sponsorships.
  2. Select Sponsorships with Bundle.

  3. Enter Sponsorship Details:
    • Provide a title and the selling amount, then choose Select Combo Items.

    • You’ll see a list of all the tickets and fixed-price items you’re selling at the event.

  4. Select Tickets and Items to Bundle: Choose the tickets and items you want to include and specify quantities.
  5. Describe the Sponsorship Benefits: Include a list of the benefits in the description area.

  7. Adjust Advanced Settings:
    • Use settings like Auto Create, Guest Tags, or Notes for guest check-in visibility.

Additional Tips

  • Use Clear Titles: Ensure each sponsorship name accurately reflects the included benefits and ticket types.
  • Incorporate Keywords: Use relevant keywords naturally in each sponsorship’s description to improve visibility.
  • Include Visuals: Use images or sponsor logos where possible to enhance the appeal and value of each sponsorship.
  • Internal Links: Direct sponsors to related event pages or resources if more context is available.
