Test/Preview Live Stream Before Your Event

Virtual and in-person events both have a Live-Stream section available. Here, you can provide the necessary live-stream information when it's ready, typically close to the start of your actual live event. Once this information is provided, your guests will experience the following:

Desktop Users: They will see an embedded video screen alongside their event user interface, which includes auction items and donation options.
Mobile Users: They will receive a link to join the live-stream using the appropriate client on their mobile device (e.g., Zoom, YouTube Live, etc.).

You can enter your livestream information by navigating to the Edit Event Page.
Then click on Live Stream under More Options.

Until you toggle the Live Stream Visibility switch to the "GO LIVE" position, your live stream will not be displayed to your guests.
However, you (as the organizer) will be able to preview your live stream link before you turn this switch on.

You can also Go Live from your Manage Event as shown below by clicking on Broadcast Now Button.

Once you are on Go Live, the button will turn red and display You are Live. To switch back click on the You are Live Button.

In order to access this livestream preview mode, you will need to open a browser window and go to a guest page of your own.
This is the My Event page that your guests receive when they register for your event. You can obtain a My Event page by making an offline purchase for yourself.
When you are on the My Event page for your event, as long as you are still logged into your account and in the same browser window and session, you will see a Preview Livestream button on the top of the page as shown below. This button will allow you to toggle between live stream and the regular guest mode.
