What is my Organization Profile?

Your organization profile contains general and contact information about your organization displayed on your fundraiser pages. This profile information is crucial as it provides credibility to your organization, helping donors trust you when they see your contact details and other relevant information.

Fill out your Profile

  • Click on the Settings Gear in the top right corner.
  • Then, click the Profile button.

  • Other than the basic contact information about your organization on the profile page, there are a few other important fields.
    • Organization Logo: If you upload your organization logo, the logo will be displayed in the top right corner of all of your fundraiser and checkout pages.
    • Tax Deductions: Checking this option will result in a Donations Tax Deductible indicator on the fundraiser page. This determination is your responsibility as BetterUnite does not validate your status. You will take on any liability if you provide a false claim with this option.
    • Default Time Zone: This will determine the default time zone when creating fundraisers and be important when creating events. You can still change this at the fundraiser level, but setting this appropriately will help with possible oversight issues in the future.
