Zoom Embedded Limitations

As we indicate in the live-stream settings in your event, the Zoom embedded/web client has inconsistent behavior across all browsers with video and audio. This is outside of our control, and Zoom changes their user experience often resulting in unexpected behavior. We are advising our customers to proceed with caution and lots of testing if you decide to use Zoom meetings or webinar for your live stream event.

Video and Audio limitations 

• Desktop Chrome is the preferred browser for best viewing experience for your guests.
• Zoom has audio and video restrictions in all other browsers.

• Internet Explorer on desktop: Due to the many Zoom limitations on IE, we do not support viewing a Zoom embed on IE11.

• • Safari on desktop: Guests must join audio for embedded Meetings and Webinars using the Phone Call (or dial-in) option. Guests cannot listen by using their computer audio.
  • Safari, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on iOS mobile devices: Guests must also join audio for embedded Meetings and Webinars using the Phone Call (or dial-in) option. Guest cannot join video on mobile.
