Thermometers 2.0

Create multiple custom thermometers to showcase and drive your call to action

This module allows you to create multiple unique thermometers for your campaign. As you are configuring your thermometer, the changes to configuration options below are applied immediately in the preview page, and you will need to click Save to commit your changes. You can also use the Full View button to preview your thermometer as it would be presented to your donors. Full View page will use the saved configurations.

The thermometer page is a live page that will listen for the appropriate purchases and will announce any new donations that fit the filter criteria on the thermometer.

Sample Thermometer

Each thermometer includes the following options:

General Options

  • Display Title: the custom display text on top of the page
  • Show Logo: show/hide the logo displayed on top of the page
  • Logo Image: custom logo you can provide for each thermometer
  • Goal Amount: goal amount for the thermometer. If provided, then the goal is displayed on the page, and the thermometer percentage is calculated and displayed
  • Background Color: pick a color for the background of your thermometer. Shown if a background image is not provided.
  • Background Image: a custom background image to be shown behind the thermometer page. You can pick from existing images as well as search in Unsplash and other popular image providers.
  • Text Color: default text color for all text on the screen, except for the donor name and donation amount text (these have a separate configuration)

Thermometer Image Options

  • Show Thermometer Image: show/hide the thermometer image. If shown, additional options are available for the image display
  • Change Image: you can pick from several example icons, or upload your own custom image to be used as the thermometer image. Please note that the custom image must be in SVG format in order for the fill-effect on the thermometer to be successful.
  • Image Line Color: The color of the svg image lines. Based on the custom image, this option may or may not be configurable.
  • Image Fill Color: The color of the svg image filled area. Based on the custom image, this option may or may not be configurable.
  • Image Size: adjust the thermometer image size based on your desired display area. Please view the thermometer in Full View
  • Pause Animation: When viewed in the edit mode, the thermometer window will animate being filled in. This is for demo purposes only and the fill amount will be auto-calculated when viewing the live thermometer page. You can however toggle this behavior to show the current filled amount.

Donation List Options

  • Show Donor Names: show/hide donor names in the Donations list on the right side of the thermometer area. (If turned on, anonymous donors will be shown as anonymous)
  • Donor Names Text Color: control donor names font color
  • Show Donation Amounts; show/hide donation amounts
  • Donation Amounts Text Color: control donation amount font color
  • Filter by Purchase: If you want to focus on a particular type of purchase in this thermometer, provide a filter here and the thermometer page will only include these purchases.
  • If no filter criteria is met or there are no donations yet, when viewed in the edit mode, the thermometer will display sample donor names and donation amounts to help you preview the behavior before data is available.

Internal Options

  • Thermometer Name: Internal reference name for each thermometer
  • BetterUnite Logo in the footer: will be hidden for Premier subscriptions.
