Grant Center overview
Grant Center is where you track the grants your organization applies for and receives — from the first conversation with a funder through the application, the award, the reporting, and the final closeout. Because it sits inside BetterUnite, the funder is already a contact, the money that arrives is already a donation, and the paperwork already lives in your content manager. Nothing has to be kept in sync by hand.

The two screens
Almost everything you do happens on one of two screens, and it helps to know which one answers which question.
Click any grant name anywhere in the Grant Center to open its workspace.
What is on the Grant Center tabs
- Overview — the dashboard: active pipeline, awarded, received, win rate, cash flow, deadlines coming up, and where your funding is concentrated. Every figure clicks through to the records behind it.
- Pipeline — every grant, as a sortable table or as a drag-and-drop board arranged by stage.
- Schedule & deadlines — the dated view of the portfolio: what is owed and when, alongside the money you expect to come in.
- Work queue — everything assigned to somebody: tasks, deadlines, next actions and renewals, filtered to you or to the whole team.
- Settings — your pipeline stages, your programs, and your reusable answer library.
Not every area described in these guides will be switched on for every organization. If a tab or a panel is not on your screen, ask whoever administers BetterUnite for your organization.
What Grant Center is not
Grant Center is built for organizations that seek and receive grants. It is not a grantmaking system — there is no applicant portal, no application form to publish, and no review-and-score workflow for grants you give out.
