Membership Management Overview
BetterUnite's Membership Management module takes the work out of creating and setting up your membership program and automates your recurring payment processing.
Overview
- You can manage your membership-related functions and settings in the Membership Center (Contacts > Membership Management).
- On the Overview page, you can see a graphic view of Actual and Forecast revenue from your overall membership program, as well as other relevant metrics.
Plans
- You can create Membership Plans that define the amount, frequency, and duration of recurring payments when someone subscribes to the plan.

Sign Up Forms
- You can provide access to these plans by creating Membership Sign-up Pages and inviting or providing access to potential members to this page.

Subscriptions
- When someone agrees to purchase a membership plan by signing up and providing their payment information, they become a Subscriber to that membership plan, and a subscription record is created for that member/contact.

Payments
- You can manage the subscriptions and subscribers to your organization on the Membership Management page under the Subscriptions tab.
- Once a subscription record is created, it is updated as payments are processed on a recurring basis. In addition, the subscription record and the status for each subscription are visible on the member's contact record.
- The Membership Center page also displays a tab that shows all the Successful, Scheduled, and Failed payments and invoice information. You can filter this page by contact, membership plan, and dates.

Settings
- Membership Center also provides Setting Options. Within these setting options, you can modify the Member Notifications to allow Members to update contact information on the member portal.
